It has tons of options to do, then you can use Studio. You can access Facebook Live Producer by going to facebook.com/live/producer. Works best with Chrome or Firefox browser.
How To Stream To Facebook And Youtube At The Same Time?
When you’re ready to go live, you’ll click the Go Live Now button in the top left corner of the Facebook Live Producer. But first there are a few other settings to take care of.
Once you’ve added your camera and microphone, you’re ready to go live! However, this method works if you want to go live on Facebook and not any other platforms. It also limits you to using Facebook Developer Studio, which has a few features.
🔥 If you want to broadcast on more than one platform at the same time (also called multistreaming) or use live streaming software to edit your live stream, you will need a stream key from Facebook. However, there is an easy way to do multistream. When you connect to Facebook and other platforms you like, you don’t need a broadcast button. Here’s how to set it up:
You don’t need live streaming software. Once you’ve added all your live streaming channels, you can launch our Live Studio. Studio lets you go directly from your web browser and has more customization options than Facebook Studio. Make your stream more creative and engaging by adding branding and logo graphics, inviting guests to the stream, sharing your screen, playing background music, and more.

Studio is the ultimate tool to give your live broadcasts an instant professional look. Events allows you to pre-schedule streams and share links. Multistream allows your content to reach a large audience on social media. Recording gives you access to your streaming videos immediately after you finish recording. Chat helps to effectively connect with your viewers in real time. Analytics help you track your success through clear data. If you’re looking to go live on Facebook, this is your quick guide to getting everything out before you go live, making real connections with your live viewers, and planning your Facebook Live video for future fun.
Facebook Live can be a great way to connect with your audience. If you’re thinking about starting a Facebook Live program, where do you start? What should you do?
Cell phones are ideal for events and live broadcasts. Many devices can make live video streaming a better mobile experience. But in most cases, the desktop option will create a more professional look for your video content.
From your Facebook app, click the publish button, click the Live Video icon, give your video a rich SEO description, and click Start Live Video.
Facebook Creator Studio: New Feature For Comments & Embedding For Live Streaming
If you’re staying in the Facebook app, you’re limited to portrait/portrait format. If you click your phone in landscape, the video will post on its side in the Facebook feed.
You can overcome this with the help of third party software, we will talk about this later. (In a hurry? Download our FREE Facebook Live step-by-step guide now.)
I love the modern convenience of live on a phone…but for professional streaming, you can’t beat a desktop computer.
From here you can schedule a video on Facebook, share your screen, add graphics, display comments as overlays, and more.
How To Find Facebook Stream Key
In addition, you can perform a broadcast test, which is only visible to page administrators. It’s ready for testing and practice before rolling out to the world.
Now you can choose to take more time to plan your Facebook Live broadcast and fill your social content calendar ahead of time.
To schedule a live broadcast in advance, advertise your Page’s time slot. People can click the Like button to get a notification on Facebook when you go live.
This ad space becomes a live broadcast as soon as you start broadcasting. This means you can use the link on that post to promote your program in advance.

When it gets close to broadcast time, click Admin Only: Edit your details, which you will receive in the mail. This is a return to the Living Producer.
If you’re nervous, or want to practice your presentation ahead of time, Live Producer has a feature that lets you go live on other page managers.
It’s a good way to check that everything is working properly and to get used to being in front of the camera.
When setting up your current broadcast, scroll down to the left and check the Publish as broadcast test box.
How To Use Facebook Live Video: A Step By Step Guide
Screen sharing is useful, especially if you use Facebook Live to teach. You can share your presentation or show people how to do online or desktop tasks.
Before using this option, it’s good to know that Live Producer doesn’t seem to let you switch between the camera and the screen. You will need to rely on third party software if you want to do this.
If you don’t write captions, people who are deaf or hard of hearing won’t know what you’re talking about. People who can’t watch with sound will lose interest.
A live producer does the live captioning. When turned on, it will add subtitles to your broadcast as you speak. They are not 100% accurate, but you can get a good result if you speak slowly and briefly.

Adding additional graphics to your broadcast can improve the viewing experience and because they make your video look more interesting, you will keep the viewer’s attention for longer.
If you broadcast using third-party software, you can add graphics to your broadcast with Live Producer. Those graphics can add ideas to your screen, an overlay, a logo, or an animated feature.
Here is the ticket I made for my live broadcast. (I’m looking forward to getting more control over the design.)
I love how rich Live Producer has become – but like everything on Facebook, it has its flaws. You don’t have enough control over what you do, and it’s hard to control when you’re a one-woman show.

Third-party software integrates with Facebook Live, giving you additional features and saving you the pain of dealing with Facebook directly.
Instead of boring you with a full review, I thought I’d introduce you to the two I can’t live without.
ECamm Live makes me happy to be a Mac user. This is what I use for my live streaming and I love it. (Sorry, Windows users, this is for Macs only.)
ECamm Live has a user-friendly interface that makes it easy to provide feedback, bring up graphics, and play recorded video clips.

You can stay with a guest using a Skype connection. There are also built-in sound effects. It also supports green screen, and you can use your phone as a camera.
My only problem is the Skype integration. Skype is heavy on my MacBook’s memory, as is streaming. So for my interview processes I use Streamyard.
Streamyard is browser-based software. which means you can use it on any computer. It is also available on the mobile web. You can use it anywhere. This solves a lot of the problems I have with going directly to mobile directly from the app.
It also has many features to match eCamm live, including text completion, feature notes, green screen and pre-recorded videos.

The downside to Streamyard for me is that you don’t have as much control over the layout of your graphics as you do in eCamm. There are currently no Stream Deck integrations. More on the Broadcast Deck soon.
One of the things I always love about Facebook Live is that it’s accessible to anyone with a smartphone.
I’ve improved my kit over the four years I’ve been running my live show. Here’s what’s in my bag and on my wish list.
The microphone on your phone is fine, but if you’re in a noisy environment, you’ll struggle to be heard.
Facebook Live Turns On Desktop Streaming For All
In my kit bag I have a Rode Video Micro. It’s a directional microphone that’s great for just picking up sound directly in front of it. The first time I used it I was in a busy bar, but my interview subject could be heard perfectly.
A video microphone mounts on a camera or tripod or works as a handheld microphone. VideoMic from Rode is also included in your smartphone.
To prevent shaky video, I use the iOgrapher Mount on my phone. Your phone fits into it, giving you a two-handed grip and mounting for microphones, like the Rode VideoMicro, lights and other accessories.
The webcam on my Mac has seen better days… It doesn’t like it when the room is too dark and tends to pixelate bright colors.

Buying an external webcam means you’re no longer tethered to your computer. You can attach it to anything or place it on a tripod to get the best angle.
I use Logitech
